JMC NAMED AGENCY OF RECORD FOR PERFORMANCE FIBERS ™

KINGSTON, N.Y., April 25, 2005 – Performance Fibers ™ , a global supplier of high strength polyester and specialty fibers for tires, industrial and military applications, has named JMC Marketing Communications and PR agency of record for its corporate and marketing communications.

Performance Fibers, Inc., based in Colonial Heights , Va. – near Richmond – was established as a stand-alone business in December 2004, following its sale by Honeywell International to Sun Capital Partners.

JMC handled the announcement and helped to develop the company’s identity. The Performance Fibers logo type was created by Pacifico, a partner agency of JMC, based in San Jose , Calif. JMC and Pacifico are members of PRGN – Public Relations Global Network – an association of entrepreneurial- owned agencies. In addition, JMC also developed and managed a planning summit for 100 managers.
