introducing jmc
Background
JMC Marketing Communications & PR is a public relations and marketing communications firm
that provides communications in the real world – moving with the agility, speed
and flexibility needed to meet the radically changing realities of clients and businesses.
The agency was founded by John Mallen in New York City in the fall of 1987 as an alternative
to the traditional large, impersonal, politically-driven Madison Avenue agency. The concept was
to create a global, full-service agency that could offer the breadth and depth of experience found
in large agencies by leveraging relationships with affiliates and independent contractors.
Today, JMC actively draws on the services of its 32 affiliates in 50 offices worldwide as a
member of the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN). The agency is also a member of the Public
Council of Public Relations Firms, an association representing 100 of America's leading public
relations firms.
JMC moved its headquarters up the Hudson River to Kingston, New York in 1995, drawn by the
natural beauty of the Hudson Valley and its quality of life. A strong commitment to technology
and proximity to New York City enable the company to serve clients efficiently across the U.S.
and around the globe.
JMC is relentless in its determination to know its clients and understand their markets,
channels, customers, suppliers and employees. Long-term relationships are a hallmark of JMC's
business and a testament to the company's commitment to support clients through the ups and downs
of their business cycles.
